E3 2016: Part 3

Firstly, Crash Bandicoot is coming back! As remasters. I didn’t expect a new game due to the issues surrounding the rights & who owns the series etc but this is still great news.

As expected, Sony has really been pushing PlayStation VR. Now, with the amazing looking Resident Evil 7, Star Wars Battlefront and Batman: Arkham VR coming to it, this is a must have gadget/accessory. Strangely, no footage of Batman: Arkham VR was released. This is odd considering it’s a PlayStation VR launch title.

Both the new God of War as well as the new Spider-Man game look interesting. I’m not sure if I’ll be getting them but they’ll be worth keeping a look out for.

Meanwhile, Detroit: Become Human looks like Quantic Dream has listened to the response from Beyond: Two Souls. This game looks closer in style to Heavy Rain, it even includes the detective/scanning system from it.

It was great to see Hideo Kojima. The brief teaser trailer was interesting, mainly because Norman Reedus & Hideo are working together again. As for the game itself, I haven’t a clue what it is but I imagine it’ll be somewhat Silent Hills like. But maybe not.

Days Gone looks really impressive. There are some major Last of Us vibes in the game. It looks like World War Z as a game. In all honesty, I’d rather the developers made another Syphon Filter game. I miss those games.

Watch Dogs 2 looks impressive. It looks better than the first game at least. That’s not a hard thing to achieve though. The first game was after all pretty dull. It still tricked us all into buying it though, didn’t it?

South Park: The Fractured but Whole not only looks hilarious but better than the previous game. Much needed work has been done on the combat system, something I disliked about the previous game. As a South Park fan, I’m definitely looking out for this.
